Wow!
What an experience! Starting a music career beyond just singing in shows and in little clubs and corporates. It’s been quite an amazing experience. I’ve been blessed with working with some of the best musicians in the industry: Paul Hanmer, Graeme Currie, Rob Watson, Sasha Sonnbichler, Christine Conradie, Marcus Wyatt, Piet Botha (Jackhammer), Bob Wade.
These are all legends in the music industry! Thanx to Neill Solomon and Peter Pearlson this dream has been realised. I’ve also had the privilege of writing with amazing musicians like Ed Jordan, Cindy Alter and Neill Solomon.
I’ve been truly blessed.
Well this album is a journey of the soul, from love to the place I live, to just plain enjoyment of life. ‘South of Nowhere’ that’s where I live.
Anyway, I hope all of you out there enjoy this journey with me. Play the album in your car, in your house, where ever, but the most important thing is to enjoy it. The album, except for one song, is written by South Africans. A celebration of South African song writing.
